Integration with purpose: How two teams became one myneva

Mergers & acquisitions (M&A) are more than just strategic moves – they are transformations that affect people, culture, and identity. Following the acquisition of DM EDV, myneva’s integration process was guided by one key belief: successful integration starts with people. In this interview, Christina Hein, our Transformation Manager, shares how openness, communication, and mutual respect helped create what we now call "One myneva".

Integration needs communication – and human connection

“From day one, we knew integration meant change – for both sides,” explains Christina Hein, Transformation Manager. That’s why the integration team placed a strong focus on dialogue, listening, and transparency.

It was important to create spaces where uncertainty could be voiced and questions openly discussed. “Trust is built when people feel heard and supported – and when there are dedicated contacts who accompany the journey,” says Christina.

Open communication as a key success factor

What makes integration successful? For Christina, open communication is essential. “In most cases, change worked well when there was open and consistent dialogue – not just about what we were doing, but why we were doing it.”

At myneva, communication took place across multiple channels – with regular updates, interactive formats, and clear explanations behind decisions. Even critical questions were welcomed, which in turn fostered trust and long-term alignment.

Mixed teams create mutual understanding

One of the most effective elements of the integration was collaboration in mixed teams. When people from different backgrounds and company cultures work together on shared goals, empathy and understanding follow naturally.

“This kind of collaboration worked incredibly well – as did the structured onboarding with clearly assigned contacts and the close coordination across departments,” Christina recalls. Integration, she says, is not about simply adapting – it’s about working together from day one.

Integration means listening, learning, and growing

No integration process is perfect – and that’s perfectly okay. Christina emphasizes that every integration is a learning experience. “Looking back, we might have paid even closer attention to subtle signals and informal feedback – which is often very valuable.”

The most important thing, however, is the mindset: openness, reflection, and a willingness to evolve – together with all stakeholders.

What “One myneva” really means

For Christina, “One myneva” is more than just a slogan.
“It means acting as one company – across locations, products, and backgrounds – united by shared values and mutual respect.”

Differences still exist – and that’s a good thing: “Diversity becomes a strength, not a dividing line.”

Conclusion: Integration succeeds through attitude, trust, and real conversations

The successful integration of DM EDV into the myneva Group shows: while technical and organizational planning is essential, the real key lies in human connection.

At myneva, we believe in transparent communication, collaborative action, and a clear value compass. This is what turns a merger into a true transformation.

As a company, we stand for a modern approach to M&A – partnership-driven, people-focused, and purpose-led. “One myneva” is not just something we say. It’s something we live.
